Energy is always required to perform every task weather it is inside the body or outside the body. To fulfill our calorific need we consume daily that is how we live. We need nutrients like as proteins, carbohydrate, Fat, Minerals, Vitamins and water in a food. For a healthy life we need balance proportion of every Nutrient. There are two types of nutrients Macro Nutrients and Micro Nutrients. Protein, Fat and Carbohydrate are Macro nutrients. They provide energy to our body system and repair damaged body tissues whereas Micronutrients such as Minerals and Vitamins helping our body function indirectly. They play significant role in our body by converting food to energy, initiate growth and development of body muscles and making electrolyte balance of our body. As far as water is concern it is a Micronutrient, water is much required food component without water we cannot survive. Maintaining body temperature and removing waste products in form of urine and sweat are the general function of water.
